Dysfunction
Dysfunction or impairment is a result of when one suffers from trauma or a condition that affects daily living tasks. Assessments and treatment of an individuals dysfunction allow for an occupational therapist to study occupational performance areas of self care, productivity and leisure within the individual's life stage and environment.

Child dysfunction includes: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Learning Disorders, Developmental Delays, Rett Syndrome, Traumatic Brain Injuries, Seizure Disorder

Adult dysfunction may include: Executive Function Disorder, Stroke, Parkinson's, Huntington's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Mental Illness and Anxiety Disorder
